Kenilworth Camping: what do users think?

Shannon Ryder: Beautiful spot, friendly people and a great location.

Gail Johnsen: Beautifully maintained grounds. $1 showers. Porta loos. $15. pp per night.Great place to camp 👍

Karen J: Another fabulous camping trip! Grounds are always beautifully kept and it’s so peaceful.. nice to know if you want to be feral they call the Police, 3 Police vehicles last night went right down the end and looked like they were escorted off the Camp Ground… Ladies are always welcoming when checking in and helpful… Looking forward to coming back next month for the week again…☺️☺️Restrooms: Self contained so we haven’t used them, however they look well maintainedDog-friendliness: Fantastic to be able to bring your dogs, our 2 love it! It’s a shame some don’t abide by the rule of having to be on a leash…

Gail Geard: Beautiful part of the country side loved camping there with my husband quiet peaceful and beautiful scenery loved all the wild life we saw along the river bank and was great to see dairy cow come along to your sight to see what was happening it was amazing we are going again and there was guy by the name of Dave a very nice man who delivered our fire wood. Thanks for our lovely camp trip on your beautiful dairy farm . Neville. Gail Geard.👍😊.

Nick Jackman: Great spot and amenities

Wayne Chippendale: Plenty of room. Staff really good. One problem some guys very drunk walking around the camp-site singing at 12.30 am.Dog-friendliness: Great place for dogs

Kelly Davidson: Absolutely love this spot!!

Jordan Tessmann: An amazing camp ground that fits hundreds of people. Right along the Mary River, on a Maleny Dairies farm, who could ask for a better rural aussie camping experience. A mate and I went there last week and on finding out they were fully booked, we struggled searching our phones for other camp sites. The ladies at the front desk called us over and told us we could slip in anyway. Overall one of the best camp grounds I have been to. Great staff, great camping and fishing, great experience. 10/10 would recommend.

valerie smith: Fantastic place to chill out. Beautiful scenery and peaceful.

Sarah Lio-Willie: Come here twice a year and it never disappoints. Beautiful campground. The grounds are well cared for, great river to sit in all day, the dogs love it! On site portaloos are well maintained and cleaned regularly. It's always a welcome reception.

WING-IT OFFROAD: Great time, camped away from the river, was peaceful and a short walk to water

Francene Sawyer: Wonderful campground. Plenty of space to setup. Clean amenities. Great base to explore the region. Areas along the river were good for either paddling and relaxing in shallow water or swimming in the deeper section.

Laura & Steve Lofts: . 4 showers, $1 per 4 mins. Can't complain, we'll be back most certainly. Steve and Laura LoftsDog-friendliness: Most accommodating for pets. Gives them time to relax and unwind as well.

vicki2062: Loved it will be back. Lovely hot showers. Beautifully kept camping ground.Dog-friendliness: Dogs on lead

Hidden Valley @ Gro Mad Plantations: what do users think?

Rhealistic Adventures: Hidden Valley @ Gro Mad Plantations is a hidden gem that captures the essence of nature's beauty and offers a respite from the chaos of everyday life. It is a place where time slows down, allowing you to reconnect with yourself and the world around you.Toilet ✔️Shower ✔️Fire pit ✔️Nearby activities ✔️Friendly staff ✔️

Maria Rensram: Thanks for letting us stay. It’s a lovely place. Quiet and cute. Nice hot shower 🚿.Hotel highlights Quiet …

Menna Troughton: A lovely site, friendly manager, very peaceful, amenities were clean and convenient.

Vicu Manno: We spent a night there. Beautiful and quiet place. In the afternoon you can see the kangaroos and we also saw the emu called Norbert. The bathrooms are clean and there are showers with hot water. There is no kitchen.Sharon was very kind. You need to call before to go.

Gayle Guthrie: The hosts are friendly and have put a lot of thought into what thier guess may like. The sites are spacious well presented with privacy gardens. Bathrooms with hot water and toilet are clean. The fire pit is a communal meeting spot that has a well appointed cooking facilitly if required. The emu is a real character that love his food and yours if you not watching ha ha ha.Highly recommed this little gem

Christo Mayo: Awesome relaxed camp site set in macadamia trees with a friendly emu called Norbert how comes round to see you. We were given food to feed him and the kids loved it. The toilers and showers are really clean and good. Hot Water is limited to three minutes in the shower but that was actually more than we needed anyway. The location is half hour out of Noosa but that suited us fine as we wanted the calmness of somewhere like this. Highly recommended.

Jo Fletcher: This is, without a doubt, the BEST place to camp on the Sunshine Coast! Owners are so wonderful, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Amenities are fantastic! It's a gorgeous little place that we will definitely be visiting for many years to come!PLEASE, OH PLEASE give this place the respect of calling to book first! Don't just show up and expect a site. The amenities are outstanding, but they really only accommodate a certain number of people, which is monitored by the owners when people BOOK in advance!

Maik: Sharon welcomed us very friendly and nice. We were there for 3 days in September and used the campsite as a break to slow down our road trip. Definitely recommended.Restrooms: The toilets and showers were very clean.

Darryl Syms: Beautiful place! Spacious, friendly, safe, and secure. Loved the plots, they were peaceful, green, and well kept. Would stay again!Don’t leave any food around for the resident Emu to find 😆 He’s friendly, but food is his #1 passion.

Lyndsay Henderson: ..it's like camping in a tropical hideaway. The hosts are lovely people and veryaccommodating. Theres a abundance wildlife including norbit the emu. Dog friendly a great family camping experience.

Christopher Barrett: With wildlife abounding and huge open spaces, this makes the perfect spot for a peaceful break. If you have a larger setup, this place can easily accommodate you. Located close to many attractions making it a great base to explore the sunshine coast.

wilma Pols: Nice camping in the bush. We loved Norbert, the Emu. Owners are very friendly. The amenities are clean.

Brian Orson: Absolutely fantastic I think it's the only place in the area that you can get woken up by an emu looking for a snack. The owner was very informative about the area and showed me the sugar bees that he was keeping Very enjoyable conversation. Very large pitch even though we didn't need electric fire pit was a great addition for keeping warm whilst star gazing. wood for burning was available at a reasonable price $18 for a large crate. Lovley picture perfect beautiful short walk around the site. Small family of kangaroos living in the grounds little joey still in pouch was lovely to see but I have to say Norbert the emu stole the show.. I would highly recommend a couple of day stay to take it all in, another five star stay. Thank you.

Jaynie Orson: The entrance isn't sign posted amazing so don't go too fast down the road otherwise you'll miss it. 100% well worth coming up here though, so pretty. The resident emu, Norbert is really cute, very cheeky but we didn't mind. He did try stealing or biscuits when we weren't looking though. Lots of kangaroos here aswell.

Terrie Connellan: A serene picturesque setting complete with resident emu and kangaroos among the macadamia trees.

Wendy Johnson: Amazing campsites on working farm which is so secluded and peaceful. Sharon the host is lovely and all the animals and walks and outlook is beautiful. Do yourself a favour and stay here.

Kenilworth Homestead: what do users think?

Lois Kelly: We recently stayed at the homestead for the first time for four nights. On the first couple of nights over the weekend was extremely busy and some people where quite loud and not considerate of other campers. Believe one group came in after hours and left before hours and were so noisy leaving glass and cans around their spot disappointing for the people who come for a relaxing time and pay for their site and leave the place better than they arrive. Grounds are well maintained. We are self contained so no major issues for us but looking at the amenities for the quantity of people that use the park at any one time the amenities are minimal. Only three showers. No dump point for self contained and no water for self contained had to head into town. Free dump point at the show grounds which was handy. Dog friendly which was great. Everyone appears to clean up after their pets. Our dogs loved the place. Once the weekend campers left the last couple of days the place felt like you had the place almost to yourself. If you want space and serenity then come mid week for this place. Extremely busy for the weekend.

Ingeborg de Ruysscher: A lovely place to wind down and relax.Location: 5/5 …

Margaret Clee: Beautiful spot well kept staff nice my only gripe is they need more toilets for the amount of people there

Richelle Seabrook: Got to stay right on the river with access down to it. We had such a great time!

Macca Reardon: I have been visiting Kenilworth Homestead since I was a child and I would highly recommend it for those looking to spend time with family or a small group of friends. The camping ground provides plenty of space and there is a delightful swimming spot along the creek that guests can enjoy.Restrooms: In addition they have plenty of pop up toilets spaced out across the property.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed on leash only.

Adam Grant: Getting expensive and busier. Cars none stop all day now with excessive dust - gotta park away from the road.

Kandi Kandi: Childhood memories unlocked!! It was a dreamland for me growing up.

Craig Simons: zones within which to camp. "Freedom" is a good word to describe the experience. While there were other people around us, they were far enough away. There was no loud music, no selfish revellers. Maybe we were lucky, but we had a very peaceful night.

Rachel Perry: We had a great stay here

Ashleigh Haswell: .

Sally Gross: Just drove around to check it out. Would definitely stay there next time

jacob meyer: Easily my favourite camp grounds in Queensland! Beautiful scenery and animals. The staff are professional and friendly, they just add to the experience of staying at the homestead! Kenilworth town is 5 minutes away and has the most amazing cheese factory with great prices.

Cotton Tree Holiday Park: what do users think?

Paul Harrison: Great caravan park.Very clean and modern amenities with tidy grounds.Easy access to both open and calm beaches. The staff are accommodating and pleasant.I would highly recommend Cotton Tree Holiday Village. 👍

Tricia (Tricia): Great location on Maroochy river with beautiful white sandy beach.Holiday Park very close to Cotton Tree shops, cafes, butcher etc so nice to be able to walk to everything. Very clean amenities. Recommend !

Guy Brown: Mint asNearby activities: PaddleboardingLocation: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …

Denis Cashin: Visited relatives who were staying there, they really liked it. Sat on the sand and watched the sun go down while having snacks and drinks.

Colin Charles: I lived in Maroochydore as a child and have always known about Cotton Tree Holiday Park. However, this was the first time I have stayed there and I throughly enjoyed the whole experience. It’s close to Maroochydore which means you can walk to almost anywhere you want, although with the main Cotton Tree shopping centre just across the road & Maroochydore beach and river close by, you may not need to go too far at all.

Noosa North Shore Beach Campground: what do users think?

Jen Abreu: Good sized amenities but only 3 basins squashed along the back wall. Too dark to use the mirror and hand soap and sharps needle bin reducing the space at each end.Requires another bank of basins rather than empty space and a free standing cleaners cupboard:(Camp kitchen excellent and scrupulously clean.Nice to have international students camping there and sharing their experiences in Australia.

Roger Attwood: A great campground that we will visit again in the future. However the amenities seem insufficient for the size of the park and Portaloos replacing permanent facilities for an extended period should be looked at. Location is fantastic.

Sid Aoutal: It was good for what we wanted

ilias: Great beachfront camping.

Marie Fouques: Great stay. Quiet, roomy sites. Great Amenities block. The only surprise was the barge. Extra cost, not budgeted for. Must do my research better.

The Hodgo's: What a gorgeous little hideaway on the beach. Easy access off the barge, it was clean, and tranquil. Hot showers and toilets available, but I do see we will be having to pay for showers in the future. Massive camp kitchen with fridges and loads of cooking room. A must for a weekender or a longer stay.

Colin Hill: Good amenities. Clean.

Nickola Bryant: Fantastic a day great price and very roomy sites

Elise Corcoran: Beautiful spot!Open space, plenty of room! Fires allowed and friendly hopping locals. Kids had a great time making a tree cubby, talking to skippy and surfing the uncrowded little waves. Easy access to beach drive up to DI and we spotted heaps of whales close to shore on their trip north.Big open sites, flushing toilet/showers and drinking water available. We will be back!

Graham Whawell: Loved how close to the beach it is but still sheltered from the elements.

Kim Hook: What an awesome getaway! The sites are huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. One safety observation, when leaving the park to turn right to go towards the beach cutting it is a definite blind spot, you cannot see oncoming traffic on the right. Maybe a mirror would assist with seeing any oncoming traffic. Otherwise we’ll be back for sure.

Nicolino Tuttofare: If you want to sleep in a wild area this is the place, just the sound of the ocean and…kangaroo on your garden!

Pam Vaughan: We've been coming to noosa north shore beach camp ground for many years and still love it, but I have to say that it isn't as well looked after since David and Leesa left.Restrooms: Toilets always seem to run out of toilet paper and hand wash. We went a whole day without either, lucky we had our own.
