Though it wasn't as simple as that. Scotty discovered that the flue had not been properly installed 5 years ago. Adrian Cooper: Scotty really knows his stuff, I met him when I was up in the Gold Coast and was impressed with his attitude. Later on I had a bird get stuck in my heater that proceeded to peck at and wreck all the door seals. Scotty was able to give me some great advice on how to get the heater professionally repaired, the products required for it to last, and who best to use to get the job done well. I also discovered he is now doing professional solar panel cleaning. It makes sense to me, wood heaters often cover solar panels with soot so why not get him to give them a clean when he is up on your roof? I would highly recommend Scotty to clean and repair your wood heater and also take advantage of his solar panel cleaning service while he is onsite.
