Mia Jennings: This place is great! Atmosphere and Greek music is a vibe, the staff is also very friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority.Food is amazing, some great Greek classics and have the best French martinis! For their prices it’s 100% worth it. This is my new local/favourite restaurant as the owner made our group feel overly welcome. Makes me feel like I’m back in Greece! I will be definitely returning every week. I highly recommend 10/10.A huge thank you to YianiMia.

Mark Coffey: I went to Yiani's Greek Restaurant in Coolum on my last night on the Sunshine Coast.So glad I did as I was extremely impressed with the quality of the food and wine and also the great atmosphere.Upon arrival you are warmly greeted by Yiani and his lovely staff.The waitress was excellent and went above and beyond to recommend wine and dishes on the menu.I had the Beef Mousaka with Greek Salad. I can honestly say it's the best Mousaka I've had since I was in Greece many years ago.The gluten free Baklava cake is amazing.I would highly recommend going to Yiani's on Beach Road Coolum Beach if you are visiting the Sunny Coast. Five stars for everything.

He makes you feel special, like you are the only guests in his restaurant, consistently checking in, providing excellent customer service. The seafood is fresh, the meat is tender and the Greek wine is incredible! To top this off, the scene is set with authentic, Greek music playing in the background to create the perfect atmosphere. Linda De Vincenzo: As a cafe owner myself this restaurant gave us the experience beyond expectations. To be able to go out and feel you are not even in your environment is just incredible. This team and himself Yanni made a 6 weekly golfers group AND their WIVES very happy. It’s one thing going out for an experience but another when the girls and guys are having the best time and you cannot stop commenting on the food, wine selections and service. Bhavik: Walked in with 6 adults and 4 children. Staff were able to seat all of us and ensure the children were occupied with colouring books. The food does remind me of authentic Greek food.

Excellent food, wonderful service, and a great atmosphere.I have just returned a year later, and while the food and atmosphere are still great, the service has really taken a turn for the worse.The staff were unwelcoming, and all the plates were left on the table for two hours after we finished eating. No one came out to check on us and see if we wanted anything else. The staff seemed totally disinterested and it was clear that they would have preferred to be somewhere else.I’ll be coming back again definitely, but next time I hope that the service has improved.

Ashhh xx: The food is amazing I’m from melbourne and we have amazing restaurants, but this wow was pleasantly surprised! the authenticity of the dishes is amazinggggg had quite a few share dishes and I couldn’t even pick a favourite they were all amazing and the dessert wowwwww definitely would eat here again. The staff are lovely attentive and kind! Reasonably priced and the portions are very generous.

Finish off with an authentic Greek coffee and chocolate mousse and that’s a meal done properly!Highly recommended and they love our two kelpies. Eclipse is definitely on our high rotation list. Just get there !
Jasmine Bielstein: Went here for lunch and omg I am so forever greatful we found this place. It takes alot for me to get emotional over food but every mouthful of food and wine was to die for. Complimentary bread and dip while waiting for your meal. We ordered the trio of dips with pita bread, not shy on the bread or dips. I had the slow cooked lamb and hubby had lamb souvlaki, both full of.flavour and melted in your mouth. Huge portions. Dessert was the finisher and it didn't disappoint. Chocolate mousse with strawberries cream and orange liqueur and a baklava that was warm and delicious. Thank you for a wonderful lunch and your kind hospitality. We will be back
Michelle Mckey: Great atmosphere and good food! Despite some of the negative reviews we gave Eclipse a go as we were looking for authentic Greek dining. The food was really tasty and the service was excellent. Out waitress was also super friendly and efficient. The complimentary bread starter was divine too! We ended up ordering entree’s only - portion size was big enough to share between 2-3 people. The only recommendation is to add alcohol free beer and bubbles to the menu. Thx for a great evening!

Mark Southwell: Our first visit was excellent with a good menu with reasonable prices and the food is really superb.Second visit wasn't as superb, as we had a big group and this venue is more suited to smaller groups.Have been back twice since and that show that we really do enjoy this venue, their food and particularly the staff!Vegetarian options: I had the Pickled Beetroot Salad and it was EXCELLENT.Insert best Keanu Reeves impersonation.

Roger Brady: Personal and friendly, we have always enjoyed eating at this restaurant. It used to be Ba Vigo and now it is Local Flow but the experience is the same. Well done to Louise and Nick for what must be some of the tastiest food on the Coast. We tend to concentrate on our favourites, of course, but they are always adding yummy extras that we will try next time. The flavours are simply the best: I’d like to give then 7 stars!

Diane Killalea: Great spot, attentive wait staff. Kid’s meal, pasta and cheese, a big hit! Spaghetti marinara, great, as was the garlic pizza and garlic prawns. Desserts to die for, Crème Brûlée and Sticky Date Pudding.However, the duck confit, one of the specials, was a big let down and only because of the parsnip purée. Other wise a great dish, the purée was horrible. A beautiful, earthy, delicious vegetable was ruined by the added sweetness. Absolute sacrilege!I wonder whether it was an accident and sugar was added instead of salt?Keep up the good work though, we will be back. 😊

We had mushroom risotto, lamb pizza, kids Hawaiian pizza, Gorgonzola gnocci and haloumi salad. I wondered whether the gnocci might have been a bit rich but it was delicious, perfect texture and serving size. Great to see it close to full.

Lauren Bauer: My family & I had a truely wonderful dinner tonight at 'A taste of Istanbul' there service was personal and warming. The food authentic & delicious, we really had a wonderful dinner and can't wait to come back & support this unique culinary experience. Our new favourite! Lovely to see Turkish lanterns, ceramics & tapestry inside too, transported me back to the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. Bajan the owner was so welcoming & it was refreshing to see an owner of their restaurant in the kitchen & serving beautiful food, talking to customers & sharing his experiences. We had a wonderful traditional soup, pide, shish, chicken & eggplant dish & Turkish delight! Couldn't fault anything, worth supporting this local gem.
