Tan Struckett: My daughter has been attending Tempo Allegro for 5 years with Michelle as her vocal teacher and Damian as her guitar teacher. My daughter has gone from a complete novice who loved to sing in the lounge room to now performing on a regular basis at venues on the Sunshine Coast. Michelle is super talented and has taught my child a wealth of vocal skills across all genres of music in the most nurturing and honest way. Michelle has has mentored her on all aspects of how to be a confident performer. Damian is so encouraging in nurturing my child’s love of guitar. He is focused on teaching in a way that is fun. His extensive music knowledge and skills has given my child the ability to be able to play guitar confidently. We cannot thank them enough for their guidance, wisdom, professionalism and encouragement in helping our girl achieve all that she has so far.
Ionne: As an adult learner with no prior experience with string instruments, I have had a very positive experience with Tempo Allegro School of Music. Within a few weeks of starting ukulele lessons, I was able to play classic songs like Riptide and Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Now after 18 months of lessons, I have had a blast learning fingerstyle techniques and am able to play Jake Shimabukuro's version of Bohemian Rhapsody and Hallelujah and classic Hawaiian songs like Daniel Ho's Keanuhea.Damian is a kind, patient and professional teacher that is very flexible with lessons.
Alison Friend: My son has been learning electric guitar at Tempo Allegro for five years and has gone from a complete beginner to a confident performer thanks to Damian. He loves going each week as the lessons are always tailored to his personality as well as his ability and goals. And the option to do Rock School exams was exactly what he needed to keep him focused and learn important theory and techniques while playing songs he really liked. I highly recommend this music school for both beginners and more experienced musicians.
Barry Kirby: My son has been taking guitar lessons with Damian at Tempo Allegro now for 4 years and has progressed greatly from a complete beginner to sitting his level 4 Rock Exams in a month or 2.They are very friendly, approachable, flexible and a pleasure to deal with. It was hands down the best decision we've made in regards to extra curricular activities. Finnley absolutely adores Amy. He has now grown a love for music and dance and his imaginative play has come ahead in leaps and bounds. Amy has such energy and the kids love it. Leah Davies: Highly recommend. My 15 month old and I loved our little music class classes. Amy was an amazing educator she was so vibrant and engaging and made all the kids feel included. My 15month old was very shy to begin and not leave my lap, each week her confidence grew and by the end of term she was dancing and interacting in the space with the other children. I also love the structure of the classes with new instruments and things getting brought out and put away which has helped at home with packing toys away.
