We have had amazing experiences at GELC!My son recently started prep and we couldn’t be happier with the level of care and preparation that went into getting the kindy kids ready for prep! I cannot begin to explain the confidence both my kids have gained from being at GELC. The educators are so amazing, kind and fun. They spend quality time with the kids to teach them so many amazing things in wonderful ways. My kids always love to go and see their educators and friends and are always smiling at pick up from a fantastic day!Communication with GELC is great too, the updates come through email or on the app and we’re kept up to date with everything that’s happening.If you want to set your kids up the best way possible, this is the best start you can give them 😊

In comparing to other child care centres, the supervision was excellent, the kids weren't left to their own devices. Staff always interested to know what's going on with the kids lives. Reasonably priced given they are attached to a grammar school. Only thing we wished they did was food for the kids.

Ashlee Smith: My daughter has been in the Nursery at Rise and Shine since February and we can't fault the care she has received. The educators are warm and caring, the app is great to see what is going on during her day, and the room environment is very welcoming.

The Rise and Shine staff, core values and curriculum have exceeded my expectations in every aspect throughout my children’s time in the centre. Rise and shine endeavour in every way to be inclusive and culturally responsive in which remains a core value within our family to respect our First Nations People but also the diversity amongst our community, and I found this is instilled within the centre’s values and curriculum. The staff have consistently cared and loved my children is if they were their own making returning to my employment a smoother process with minimal teething issues. I strongly recommend Rise and Shine Kindergarten to any parent or guardian looking for consistent, incomparable care for their child.

catherine silveri: My two girls have settled in nicely into their new daycare/ kindy, thanks to the attentive and caring educators. The groups per class are an intimate size, giving the kids plenty of one on one attention. I would highly recommend this centre to anyone.

We checked out several centers on the coast and we're very happy with our choice of Milestones EL Sunshine Beach. They've done amazingly at helping our little rascal settle in and now he looks disappointed when we come to pick him up to bring him home!

Team Nurture: This is our third montessori school and by far the best as It is the purest form of montessori education we have experienced which we very much appreciate. A beautiful environment, a lovely family community, and we see constant action to improve the school.

Loren Cattermole: We have attended MIC since Early Years 8 years ago, the guides have shown commitment and dedication to supporting my children and their learning through each cycle with open communication and deep learning opportunities. Being able to attend a small school has given my children a sense of home and familiarity where they also establish great rapport with their guides after being with them for the 3 cycle. They are not just a number here but known by their name giving them a sense of identity, belonging and safety. As with all children growing up, life has often presented challenges at school with peers and tears and the college has shown nothing but care and concern during those times. These times have always given them opportunities to grow and expand developing skills to know how to resolve problems in the real world. There is no punishment and shame to students here, only respect, natural consequences and responsibility of one's actions. It is also a wonderful place to work with passionate and supportive colleagues!
Christine O'Leary: An amazing school. Both of my boys have been students there since 2014 and absolutely love it. Wonderful teachers and a beautiful environment - with everyone showing so much kindness and respect for one another. My boys are curious about the world around them and their natural desire to learn has consistently been encouraged and allowed to flourish. They are in the primary college now and they look forward to high school, I’m so grateful they can continue their education to Year 12 there with their peers. I can’t recommend this school highly enough.

cindy wang: One of the best Center in town . Educators are all very caring , professional and passionate with children . Beautiful indoor and outdoor area , very clean and organised . My son never likes go to daycare before with other center . Since day one he start with Okinja I can feel the differences . He’s very happy to go . Highly recommend this center to anyone .
Gaby Schoeman: We loved our experience within Okinja Kindy Program. Our child got to do Beach Kindy, excursions to Sea Life, visits to community garden and plenty more. The staff are great and were always friendly, accommodating and kind, our child loved his teachers. We also loved the centres ethos, they were aware of their communities needs and demonstrated to the children in practical ways how to be a good community member.

The Educators are so caring, they take the time to really know each and everyone one of the children, they give great feedback of their day when you pick them up. The presentation of Okinja is of the highest standard, they are clean, bright, and welcoming. Kristy is absolutely wonderful, she is super responsive to any questions, or things that need to be actioned. My daughter has been in daycares in Perth & Adelaide and this is by far the best daycare, she is in great hands when she is there and I can’t fault anything. They are wonderful and highly recommend this centre.
