Glenda Gardiner: From the moment you walk into the Eye Care Specialists on the sunshine coast every one is helpful and caring.Dr Warren Apel is an amazing doctor and incredible human being. Twice my husband seen Dr Apel on short notice for detached retina in both of his eyes 6 months apart. Both times my husband had emergency surgery the same day he saw Dr Apel. Both times he made us feel confidant, answers any questions and explained the surgery and recovery in great detail making it all easy to understand. His after care for his patients goes above and beyond what his duty as a doctor calls for.
Lorraine Hyland: I found Dr Walker t be very personable a very competent Dr .I would recommend him to prospective patients.
Geoff Goble: Very happy with the quality and thoroughness of the optical testing and subsequent explanation received. Particularly the "technician" who did all the investigative testing. Very unimpressed with the cost of the consult when it was time to pay, as I had specifically asked in advance, and had been clearly told one of the possible charges was only to be incurred if surgery was likely required. Surgery was not required, but the second charge was incurred.Update: A few days after the consult, the practice contacted us and apologised for a billing error and immediately refunded the payment.

Dean Francis: Most people in their later years are faced with a cataract problem and just rely on their GP to recommend an opthalmologist to have them removed. I did some extensive research and asked my doctor for a referral to Dr Mark de Wet at the Buderim Eye Centre. Dr de Wet came highly recommended as one of the most experienced and dedicated eye surgeons on the Sunshine Coast and I couldn't be more pleased with the result. Dr de Wet was very caring and thorough to ensure I would be totally satisfied with the chosen multifocal lens implants to suit my hobbies and lifestyle.Do not hesitate to see Dr de Wet to have your cataracts removed. You will be astounded at the difference.
