Dawn Latham: 4 months ago my husband was in a wheelchair and on crutches. He was in chronic pain 24/7 with hip and knee joint replacement required. Dr Lawrie was our saviour with his surgical skill and upfront advice and follow up. We now have a brighter future together as husband is now able to walk and pain has lessened . Thankyou so much. His staff and followup are exceptional.Dr Lawrie is highly recommended.
Lachlan Davis: Dr Lawrie and his lovely receptionists are the best in the business.Has been nothing but easy and organised leading up to surgery. The ladies in the office are so kind, patient and always respond so efficiently to whatever needs to be done.
Brian Turner: Truly Amazing! I had a buckle handle meniscus tear fixed and was booked in for surgery within 1 week of calling his office. Steven is an absolute talented surgeon and very thorough with his assessment and explanation of the procedure and what needs to be done. Can't thank him and his team enough for their help.

Merebark: Very informative and the physio advised me he is one of the best in Sunshine Coast and possibly South East Qld.He replaced my ACL and fixed a few other issues encountered during the surgery. Which he was already prepared for, having both spoken to me about the possibilities, and had me sign permission they could be fixed immediately if encountered.
Shirley Cleal: Dr. Lawrie is a magnificent, gifted surgeon. He has successfully operated on both of my knees for Meniscus root tears and I will be forever grateful. One was particularly difficult as I left it for 9mths before getting the repair done and he told me that I may have left it too long. I am stronger than ever and I have Dr. Lawrie to thank for that.

Liz Jeffrey: Great results from shoulder reconstruction. Great surgeon and staff. Perfect preparation for surgery after muscle strengthening by registered nurse which helped me having a quick recovery. Recommend Dr Clarke for any surgery on shoulders or knees
wayne mahoney: Dr Clarke did a double knee replacement on me on the 21st march 2022. Was back at work within 9 weeks. Last year I was at the Simpson Desert and tried to walk up the sand dunes . Could only make it half way . Last week made it up with ease . Follow the surgeons and physios advice and you can't go wrong. Would highly recommend Dr Clarke for knee replacement surgery. Has changed my life completely around .
Bradley Dawson: I had a Left knee surgery performed by Dr Clarke he has done a fantastic job on my knee I will be recommending him to anyone that needs surgery to there knees. The recovery time has been quite short being 3 weeks post op I currently have around 110% of motion. The remaining scaring is very minimal and Mri scanning has shown perfect results. I can not praise enough Dr Allan Clarke and his team. Joanna Dr Clarke's Receptionist is very prompt and reliable with making appointments, and always greets you with a smile.

Paulina Phillips: I saw Dr Allan Clarke 3 months ago, I had been suffering with a frozen shoulder for 5 months. I was in constant pain & sleep deprived, felt burnt out... I basically could not use or move my arm. I had 2 Cortisone Injections & Physio prior, however nothing worked till I visited Dr Clarke.He was so caring, he was booked out for 2 weeks to operate which I said was ok, however he said I don’t want you suffering another 2 weeks and fitted me in that week.He is an excellent surgeon and is committed to his profession in making sure you are out of pain including many follow up appointments after surgery.His receptionist Joanna makes you feel welcome, and Emma his practice nurse explained everything prior to the operation and is on call, which I had to call her that night after surgery, she was wonderful.It’s important to keep up with exercising and Physio after surgery, I can do things now I thought I would never do prior to Dr Clarke’s magic skills as an orthopaedic surgeon.Thank you so much Dr Allan Clarke, I would highly recommend you & have!
Phil Wilshire: Just had my 12 month check after left shoulder had a reverse total shoulder replacement along with bone graft . All has healed brilliantly , I have far more mobility now than in the last 15 years and pain free . Can now do my normal work as an electrician . Thanks Dr Clarke for a great job . Duncan Paton: For 40 plus years I had managed my left shoulder through recurrent subluxation and occasional dislocations. Dr Clarke successfully performed shoulder arthroscopy during day surgery to stabilise the joint in June 2020. There followed 4-weeks in a sling to support and limit arm movement allowing the shoulder to recover. Rehabilitation physiotherapy following immobilisation improved the range and motion and eventually built strength. At every step from initial consult to the follow-up reviews Dr Clarke and his team ensured I understood what was to happen, why it was required and answered my questions or concerns. I would recommend Dr Clarke to anyone requiring similar surgery..
Pat Mohr: In March I had a hip replacement performed by Dr Clarke which has been extremely successful. Throughout the lead up, hospitalisation and follow up of this operation, Dr Clarke has provided excellent communication of advice, explanation and any additional information asked for. His team and the nursing staff at SCPH have been first class. I would not hesitate in recommending Dr Clarke to anyone who required a surgeon who explained, assured and delivered excellent results.

Meredith Inkster: After 20 years of the endless cycle of cortisone, physio, acupuncture, Bowen therapy etc etc for a frozen shoulder, Dr Clarke and his brilliant team have done what I thought was impossible! A pain free shoulder with close to 100% mobility. And that is only after four months since having the arthroscopic day surgery. My rehab, including physio, has been closely monitored with regular visits and tweeked when needed by Dr Clarke. But it is his team that makes this Practice outstanding. Emma, the practice nurse, really removed the fear and uncertainty of post op pain with an excellent pain management plan and gave me a real understating of how and when to use the medication prescribed. And checked in after the surgery to see how I was managing. Then there is Joanna. Always welcoming, always professional and really, well kind! Thank you Dr Clarke, Emma and Joanna. I don’t know if you really understand what a difference you have made in my life but I will always be grateful.
Max Bignell: I was on a full list of pain and anti inflammatory medications barely able to walk. Dr Clarke scheduled me promptly. The procedure was seamless he even organised post surgical rehabilitation. I was off all medications within a month from the procedure. I have just had my 12 month post operation review and couldn't be happier with what Dr Allan Clarke has done for me and my family. Leyla Beck: The best shoulder surgeon on the Sunshine Coast by far! Dr Clarke operated on my mother recently and was exceptional in every way. He has been absolutely fabulous from start to finish. He listened carefully to what she had to say, and immediately initiated a clear and straightforward plan. Steve Pullen: I delayed my operation for 5 years and ended up with a full reconstruction and a tendon patch.I had no pain after the operation and didn’t even need pain killers post operation. 16 weeks on still no pain and almost as much movement back in my shoulder as pre operation. I’m sure within a month or so I’ll be back in the surf.Highly recommend Dr Clarke and his team.
Jeanette Holden: I went to see Dr Clarke urgently with extreme Calcific Tendonopathy. He ordered an MRI the same day and operated the following day.
