Ki_La_ Gung: A star for each hour I received store owner Ziggy's complete attention and patience as he helped fulfill my order that I'd scribbled on a sheet of A4 filling it with the list of Brazilian drums & paraphernalia for the troupe up in Cairns. Luckily the morning rush had passed and Ziggy was able to tend to me even tho I turned up unannounced, I highly recommend calling ahead if you've got a list that covers the page, We got Taciano the director of Sambalicious on the phone and went shopping!One of the cool things I like about Ziggy, is how he delivers knowledge on the subtle differences in design and manufacture to giving examples of which style of music they are commonly used in and which part of the country etc.. went thru the list checking everything off the Surdos with napa skins, Caixas, Repeniques, Timbals with stands, bells, whistles, straps, sticks, the lot including a very generous discount to seal the deal.I'd like to thank Samba World Percussion in Maleny for going the extra yard to make people feel natural, at home like but still feeling like the guest of honor.Thanks so much Ziggy, you're a good man!We'll keep you posted with performances from FNQCheers, :Daniel & Taciano.

There are so many varieties of percussion instruments, great quality cables, very high quality sound healing instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, crystal harp, crystal pyramid, crystal tuning forks, ocean drum, healing drum, hand pan drum, and way more. You get to go there and play and see which instruments resonate with you the most. The owner of the shop is very kind and knowledgeable and very honest. MUST GO.

Jeremy Fethney (Feth): This is an Aladdin's Cave for guitarists! A fantastic range of electric and acoustic guitars, amps, pedals and accessories. I've never seen so much good stuff under one roof before. The staff are friendly; you don't feel uncomfortable picking up a guitar and having a strum. A chance to play some Australian-made acoustics that are pretty awesome. Had a good chat with Ash, one of the staff at Mooloolaba. Top fella. If you're in the area, visit this shop. You won't be disappointed.

John Maier: The real point of difference with these guys is that they actually get it. Musicians by nature have very complex gear/instrument requirements. A one size fits all approach not work. This teams ability to listen and find solutions is second to none and for me, and having a proper bricks and mortar store just down the road full of music gear to check out is awesome.
