Nicholas Antuar: USC Pool is a 10 lane-50m pool - great for lunchtime lapping! Friendly staff, clear water and clean change room facilities. The only down side - the water temp can be a little cool at times.

Cam Roberts: Always clean water. Great wide lanes. Depending what time you go, you might even be able to watch some Olympic Swimmers go through their training sessions!

David Johnson: What a gem of a local Council run pool. Great range of pools from bubbs, to juniors and seniors with a diving pool. This centre has numerous interactive fitness classes for you
Anna Gal: Many options for swimming classes for all levels making it possible to find a suitable time for all my 3 kids to attend at the same days and times, which is a great advantage for busy families.The center is having construction work done at the moment which reduces the parking spaces and makes it less atractive option at the moment for casual swimming, but does not affect the regular swimming sessions. This should, however, improve the facilities when the constuction is done, hopefully next year.Unfortunately lately there is very high coaches turnover, which affects the level of coaching and the kids motivation and commitment.

Heidi Smith: My family are visiting the Sunshine Coast on holidays. My daughter is a keen swimmer and wanted to continue her training whilst we were away. She trained with Rod who made her feel at ease right from the start and the other kids were so welcoming of her. Rod is such a kind man who really took time to give my daughter some great swimming instruction. She would leave her sessions brimming with enthusiasm and excited for the next session. Thank you for having us.
Cam Roberts: This swim academy is professionally run by Sunshine Coast Olympic Coach Chris Mooney, and his wife Erin. They have a great learn to swim programs and a fantastic squad program for all levels. Would highly recommend this program to Sunshine Coast parents and competitive swimmers.
Cuen Bibb: Lovely Environment, Damien and David are excellent coaches and mentors for these children together with the friendly and supportive staff.
Sam Calder: . One of them improved out of sight... from previously always being supported by a coach or buoyancy aid, to doing 10+ metres of proper unsupported freestyle within a week. The other one went from vehemently not wanting to even get into the pool at the start of the lesson, to having so much fun he didn't want to get out at the end. Full credit to the coaches for both their teaching skill and their ability to work with a couple of difficult kids!We also saw some of the big kids training in the outdoor pool. The coaches didn't just have them cutting laps, but mixed it up with a variety of techniques, races and other interesting activities.If we didn't live in another state, our kids would already be enrolled here. Will definitely be coming back next time we visit the Sunshine Coast!Details...Staff: welcoming, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and great with kids. Turns out the current managers also have decades of experience coaching our Olympic swimmers too, so they have the expertise to take them right through to elite level.Outdoor pool: looked like a 25 metre with eight lanes, starting blocks at one end, and stadium seating. Ian: This was an amazing day with the kids. A water park area with slide etc. Two tube water slides for the adventurous. Little kiosk for drinks and snacks. Well patrolled with lots of life guards on duty. Two huge pools, one under cover. Highly recommend.
