Sam Calder: . One of them improved out of sight... from previously always being supported by a coach or buoyancy aid, to doing 10+ metres of proper unsupported freestyle within a week. The other one went from vehemently not wanting to even get into the pool at the start of the lesson, to having so much fun he didn't want to get out at the end. Full credit to the coaches for both their teaching skill and their ability to work with a couple of difficult kids!We also saw some of the big kids training in the outdoor pool. The coaches didn't just have them cutting laps, but mixed it up with a variety of techniques, races and other interesting activities.If we didn't live in another state, our kids would already be enrolled here.
