Rick Cowley: I've run 4 of my VysionQuest Retreats at Amara in the last 8 months and each one has been MAGIC. Our favorite things: the big front deck with incredible view, massive yoga space also with that incredible view, the nature - birds, trees, tree frogs and kangaroos, two great tables for group work, the owners who respond quickly when we need something, the dam for swimming, the sauna and pool combo, two campfire spaces. The rooms are simple which fit the "back to nature" vibe of the place. I think the nicest rooms are the glamping tents... so comfy. If you are a fussy, complainy retreat leader this property might not be the best fit, but if being on a big property in nature and doing some walking will enhance your retreat, it's amazing.

Cherry Green: Went here for a retreat and it was such an amazing experience. The house is just beautiful and the owners are the loveliest people. There are cute little cabins if you prefer a quiet stay, with views of the neighbours' miniature goats! If you haven't booked a retreat in this special place, do it right away!

Adira Active: I recently stayed at this beautiful retreat with a group of wonderful ladies, this place exceeded all of my expectations. The family were just delightful and nothing was too much trouble. The views were out of this world. We will be booking our 2022 retreat here again and hoping to bring along more ladies.

Yoga classes: suitable for all levels of participants. Rose has 35 years experience as a Yogi and her classes cover several styles of holistic yoga. Tai Chi: daily lessons with Fushin which are suitable for beginners. Zen Buddhism seminars: valuable life skills for all whatever your faith and/or belief system. Rose and Fushin are generous in spirit and extend themselves to ensure their guests are catered to.
