Buderim Private Hospital: what do users think?

Melissa Roberts: I was admitted over night for breast surgery and found the care and compassion of the health professionals to be exceptional in every regard from the moment I arrived to the moment I departed. The nursing staff going above and beyond in any way possible. For a private hospital to have the capacity to operate at this level and then feed patients the way that they do was shocking to me. I have stage 3 cancer. Regardless of what extreme beliefs you might subscribe to with regard to diet, I am yet to meet a person with cancer that does not avoid highly processed food devoid of nutritional value.I genuinely cannot comprehend how a hospital could serve the meals pictured with consideration to the well-being of sick individuals. Not a single thing put in front of me was derived from fresh produce, in fact the meals I received were perfect examples of the foods to avoid as directed by my dietician.

Cecily Holmes: I recently had breast surgery and an overnight stay. I just wanted to say that everything was so well organised and I could not have been looked after better

Jamie Zafir: I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care and support my mother received at Buderim Private Hospital during her cancer treatment. The staff, from the doctors to the nurses to the support staff, were all incredibly kind, compassionate, and skilled. The facilities were modern, clean, and well-equipped, providing my mother with everything she needed to feel comfortable and at ease during her stay. The hospital's commitment to patient-centered care was evident in the personalized attention my mother received from her care team.I was also impressed by the hospital's focus on collaboration and communication. My mother's doctors and nurses worked together seamlessly to ensure she received the best possible care, and they always kept us informed and involved in the decision-making process.Overall, I highly recommend Buderim Private Hospital to anyone seeking top-notch medical care in a warm and supportive environment. Thank you to everyone at the hospital who made my mother's stay as comfortable and positive as possible.

steve meechan: Best staff and the care taken 10/10 thank you to Dr cooroy nurse Lilly and nurse Steph and all involved

Annelle Rae: I had a foot operation recently which I was advised by all except the surgeon that it should be an overnight stay wherein the surgeon would only allow day surgery. I still had to pay the $750 excess if it was day surgery or overnight or more. The hospital had even allocated me a room. I want to thank all the nursing staff in the day surgery ward with you excellent assistance. All were so friendly and supportive even though some of the nurses were struggling to get their breaks.

Phil Hollard: I was recently transferred from Nambour Hospital to Buderim Private. I was admitted to 2A for 4 days with a Kidney infection. My stay , although not in a good place medically, was made very comfortable by the entire staff who cared for me. Dr Sam was unbelievable with his care not only for me but my family. In particular Nurses, Annmarie, Kaye, Karen, Mary and Tisha were so caring. Also Kitchen staff Craig and Anna were so thoughtful arranging suitable food. I'm well and truly on the mend now.A HUGE THANKS to everyone..Phil Hollard 🙏🙏🙏

Sheelagh Ogilvie: Went to Buderim from Sydney to stay with family , unfortunately I became quite sick with a virus , from the moment I presented at emergency , and for the next 8 days , was I looked after with such love , and the care was faultless , from ICU to the wards . The Doctors, incredible nurses , and all staff were 1000percent . The best hospital in Australia. Thank you . Sheelagh Ogilvie . Sydney . ❤️🌺

Michelle Witheyman: I was at Buderim Private Hospital for day surgery. The staff were amazing from start to finish. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Thanks to all involved you are angels.

shaun graham: Good food the staff are fantastic and friendly best care I have had while staying in hospital

Terence Murphy: Great

Paul Bonner: From the very caring receptionist who explained everything to my wife, to the very efficient professional staff and the fantastic catering I could not fault my recent stay. You never really enjoy a stay in hospital but this time was close. Thank you all for looking after me so well

Peter Wynn: I was a patient at this hospital for two days and I could not fault the care I received from my nurses, the orderlies or the quality of the food. I would also rate the hospital autism friendly for it's large number of private rooms.

Emily Smith: Recently had an overnight stay after having a procedure and the staff were fantastic! They were so accomodating and friendly. I stayed in the womens/maternity ward and every nurse I encountered was great. The whole hospital appears to be run very efficiently.

Nambour General Hospital: what do users think?

Big Todd: Wonderful care

gunner riggy: I cannot thank the wonderful nurses and doctors enough for the care and love they gave my little daughter during a very difficult time. The entire emergency department was amazing. Even though they were busy they were dedicated and attentive. Thank you.

Sharon: I was at Nambour Hospital as a day patient and the doctors and nursing staff were all wonderful, caring and friendly. My only issue is the lack of privacy when sitting in recovery and they are discussing what the outcome of your surgery was, I heard all of the personal details of the surgery of the people sitting next to me as I'm sure they did mine. I am not blaming the staff but think this is something the hospital system needs to look at improving

Michael Vella: Not to easy to find your way around here in the building

Christine Chay: Today I was a patient at the Day Surgery Unit at Nambour General. The staff were outstanding from the reception desk to the discharge. Thank you everyone

shelley tilston-dickson: Massive thank you to Nurse Tomas, Nurse Paul, Nurse Donna, Dr Nathan, Wardslady Holly - there was at least another 10 staff/beautiful people I didn’t note names sorry! I was taken by ambulance to Nambour Hospital after a traffic accident and was immediately cared for by so many wonderful people, I felt so safe considering I was in a really terrified and vulnerable state with no loved ones with me at the time. My pain was taken seriously and action was taken accordingly and quickly. Wonderful team at Emergency, I am so grateful to you all. Thank you.

Brooke Rumble: Older regional hospital with a lot of heart from all levels of staff, particularlythe "eat, walk, engage program on ward 4fw

Scott Wheatley: I would like to say thanks to all the staff in the ED for helping my 8 year old son last night and this morning, couldn't fault anyone, what a great job you do looking after the people that come into the ED for help, when they feel at their worst. All the staff also took care of my 11 year old son and myself. We both slept over with my younger son and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Thank you so much.

Eden Private Hospital: what do users think?

Christine Takahashi: I have just spent 13 days at Eden. It was a really enjoyable stay. The nursing staff were friendly and checked in often to see how I was doing. The Rehab staff were excellent, encouraging, understanding and challenging. The Occupational Therapy Staff were fun, focused and encouraged not only cognitive play but more importantly social interaction. The cleaners were all cheerful, happy to be at work and remembered my name. The kitchen staff were also lovely and the food was served hot, nutritious and tasty. My rehab post bi lateral total knee replacements went well. Goals were set and met and expectations were achievable yet challenging. I look forward to being a part of their day therapy sessionsI found Eden the perfect place to work on gaining some independence before heading home.Thank you to everyone, you made my stay wonderful.

Heather Ford: I have been admitted to Eden many times following joint replacement surgeries, and highly recommend the rehabilitation offered. The rehabilitation team are very well trained in their profession and work with the patients. Follow up physio has been very helpful in me as well. All staff are very professional in what they do.

Mirrella Bundaberg: and we'd been told by the hospital neurologist that she would never sit up again. Mum suffers dementia, is legally blind and profoundly deaf. A hospital nurse referred to Eden Rehabilitation Centre during a casual conversation which led me to contact Eden to discuss Mum's eligibility for acceptance into a rehab programme. No one else made reference to the possibility that Mum's condition might improve through rehabilitation. In fact, the treating doctor at the local hospital recommended that we find a nursing home placement as he considered that Mum would not return home.Mum spent two weeks in the local private hospital. During this time, she showed some improvement in her condition. She'd been unable to raise her head, her left arm and left leg and she'd been unable to feed herself when she initally suffered the stroke. With the help of the hospital physios, by the end of week two, she had regained some movement in her limbs and, with much help and support, was able to walk on the walking frame rollator.Eden accepted Mum into a four-week programme. She was transferred by ambulance and settled into a very comfortable shared room
