Leanne Hawkins: I stopped in here as it was convenient on my way home. After I ordered I read the reviews whilst waiting for my fish burger and had very low expectations. I must say this was one of the best fish burgers I have had. Everything was fresh and the bun was nicely toasted. The fish was a good size piece of crumbed cod and the salad was also fresh. Not a small burger at all which I wouldn't expect for $12, but was unsure what I was getting based on the other reviews. I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied after my burger.

Kristin Vidler: We had a big birthday dinner at Fish on Parkyn and it was soooo great! The staff are awesome and Tracy particularly was such a pleasure to engage with throughout the planning phase. Great to have one of the coast’s most special restaurants still true to their roots, in this case a fine dining destination. Food is delicious, atmosphere is lovely - definitely worth a visit!

Patricia YBC: We love Fish on Parkyn, it is one of our top 3 restaurants on the coast.The food is truly amazing and the service is fantastic. We savoured a gorgeous entree of king fish, followed by one of our favourite dishes, the snapper with wild rice and a sauce of butter and foie that is to die for, a succulent pork belly full of flavour and a chocolate terrine with berries mouse... yum.The atmosphere was so relaxing and we could enjoy the lovely breeze. It was a beautiful day and the experience was as good as always.

Andrew Gooch: Can't really complain about the food, it was good. The service was good, however we had a hard time understanding the waiter as he would speak so fast we were constantly asking him to say again. The atmosphere was just ok. Perhaps some live music would be nice. For the price that you pay, I'm looking to come away with a bit of a Wow factor, and we didn't get that. If I could I would give Fish 3.5 stars. There are too many other restaurants in this price category that have a far better atmosphere, like ocean or water view or perhaps live music etc. If you have ever been to the Green Zebra, it blows this place away. So overall, I'm not impressed. I will likely not go back, would rather spend my money elsewhere.

Brett Skilton: My meal of Malay seafood curry was ten out of ten, the pieces of fish, prawns, mussel’s, calamari tasted amazing in the beautiful curry. Every mouthful was exquisite, choose Malay Seafood curry you will enjoy it.

Darren Bailey: A wonderful foody experience, our host Karen was delightful and made us both feel very welcome, a must visit when you are next in mooloolaba and make sure to leave room for desert ask Karen for the chocolate terrine it is pure heaven for chocky lovers...

The food was delicious and fresh. This is one of our favourite places to eat on the coast.On another note, we happened to be seated near the table that left the review below this one. I don't know of any restaurant that will let you turn up with food from a neighbouring business and allow you to eat it on the premises. We thought the staff member dealt with the situation in a professional and polite but firm manner. Anyone who thinks they deserve special consideration because "they are spending a large sum of money" needs a reality check. "Just plain rude!"Thank you Deck on Parkyn, we will be back.

Denise McKay: Anniversary lunch was superb here. Dont let the casual ambience mislead you. We ordered meals not usually on our palette and were blown away. Swordfish in yellow curry and the Cajun Seafood on Aburi rice was so well presentable and mouth-watering it verged on moreish, we wanted more but we were full. Well done knowledgeable wait staff and talented chefs. We'll be back for the pot o' mussels I missed.
