Geraldine De Tomasi: I go here frequently and it's successfully run by volunteers with lovely smiling faces and an enormous heart. Its aim is to help people with low incomes and there are many items that are free or very reasonably priced. You will find many expired products though so check the labels if that worries you. Also check prices e.g. the meat, cheese, because I don't know why some items are not reduced at all. Maybe they have a reason....On another note it is so good to see food go to a good cause and not thrown away. Places like this need to be supported and encouraged. A great congrats to those behind this mission.

Kim Larkin: Had the regular stack with whipped butter, maple and ice cream on the side. Delicious, light and fluffy pancakes and the coffee is great too. Staff are very friendly and provide quick, efficient service. Can't wait to go back.

Great combination of the nuts, ice cream and waffle.Coffee was great and the service professional. The eating area was very clean.Always good to have ample parking at sunshine plaza.
Stephen Lewis: Went there for Father’s Day and we had the best food and the service by our waitress was excellent. We moved tables to a booth after we ordered at our previous table, she made sure the order came to the right one without being asked. Will be back and highly recommend.

Paul Ludden: We were greeted on arrival and shown to our table. Menus provided, we chose the charcuterie board, mushrooms and calamari to be shared between four people. The quality of the food was superb. There is no doubt we will visit again, and l would recommend others also do so. The guitarist playing in the background made it a memorable evening.
Christine Pitcher: Have had several lunches at Uptown and very impressed with the value and many menu options available. They also have a great range of wines which are value for money. Definitely worth a visit if you're after a casual yet quality lunch.
