Mark Templeton: Great for flicking a lure or dropping some bait in land based. Plenty of parking and peaceful!
Alan Lewis: Greta wee place to paddle, fish, launch a tinnie.

Joanne Mays: Good ramp has floating poonton, not a real big parking lot but enough with room in street also. There are toilets table and chairs along river.

Simon Baker: Great little boat ramp but over the road is a small park and area to launch kayaks. That's where this review concentrates.There is shade for you car and a little beach. Busy with fisherpersons so pick your time. No seating or areas to put a picnic blanket down - for that you need to go to the actual boat ramp. The actual boat ramp area is mostly busy with beach fishers.

Richard Wakeling: Picnic Point is such a functional spot for boats, a picnic or BBQ and so relaxing. Twilight can become noisy with many birds though.
