Lauren Bauer: My family & I had a truely wonderful dinner tonight at 'A taste of Istanbul' there service was personal and warming. The food authentic & delicious, we really had a wonderful dinner and can't wait to come back & support this unique culinary experience. Our new favourite! Lovely to see Turkish lanterns, ceramics & tapestry inside too, transported me back to the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. Bajan the owner was so welcoming & it was refreshing to see an owner of their restaurant in the kitchen & serving beautiful food, talking to customers & sharing his experiences. We had a wonderful traditional soup, pide, shish, chicken & eggplant dish & Turkish delight! Couldn't fault anything, worth supporting this local gem.

I am not normally the type to write reviews, but au really feel that this deserves my time given the amount of effort, time and care that is put into the food. Amazing service and amazing food.Vegetarian options: Great range of both vegan and vegetarian options, and has a growing range of delicious homemade dips that are truly delightful. The falafels are some of the best I have had, they are homemade, crisp with a soft interior and a delightful taste.
nn Opals: Decided to visit this place for a late lunch and was not disappointed. Service was great: the owner was conversational and very helpful and the food came very quickly. We got a few different kebabs and snack packs and enjoyed it all immensely. Lots of choice between sauces and meal sizes and there was something for everyone. Would highly recommend the baklava. Overall nice place and we’ll definitely be returning sometime soon!!Kid-friendliness: The owner was very nice to our kids and made them laugh.

Prudence: What a find! My partner and I are so happy we live 15 minutes from this gem. The food was amazing, full of flavour, cooked to perfection and a tonne of great options on the menu. Service was fantastic, all the staff were really friendly and efficient. I want to recommend this place to everyone but at the same time I want to keep it to myself so this review is my middle ground!
John H: was understated, believe me, the Sourdough is not just Sourdough and the Chicken isn't just Chicken there's a little something extra in each dish, without overpowering the perfectly cooked local produce.I haven't posted photos of the food, you need to experience it for yourself.Comfortable seating and wonderful music added to the evening. Harry's has some competition but then Buderim is big enough for two exceptional restaurants.This is a keeper. You won't be disappointed.

Brian Chapple: Our group of six had lunch here today and we were well looked after indeed! The restaurant has wonderful atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and efficient, even joining in on our table’s friendly banter. The food was the main attraction obviously and none of us were disappointed; each dish was plentiful in food and cooked to perfection. It was a joy to dine here, no doubt we’ll be back!
