When a price increase was necessary the director Josh Green contacted us directly. We were very impressed by this. Josh worked with us on the price and helped with discounts on extras.After the price increase we got a new building supervisor, which was like an upgrade. Daniel Rycen came in and worked closely with us informing us of every step and every trade shortage and time change. Bayden Horn: . I purchased a wider frontage block / home site with Stockland / AURA, and wanted a home design to compliment the frontage of my wider site. I chose the Como design as it not only has a double lock up garage, but a wide Porch / Foyer to compliment my 1200mm wide frond door, and an oversized Master Bedroom and ensuite at the front of the home. AUSMAR Homes Como design ticked all the boxes for my new home that was built in AURA. I did do some shopping around with other builders in the Baringa AURA Display Village, but found most of the consultants that worked for other builders quite hopeless, and could not answer any of my questions, but Andrew from AUSMAR was very learned and knowledgeable as he has been in the Building Industry for 22 or so years.After comparing AUSMAR Homes standard inclusions with other builders, I was pleasantly surprised with each item. Nathan Kneen: Walking into Cameron's home office was like catching up with an old friend, even though we'd never met! He is a warm, friendly and very sincere man. As first timers in the building and design game, we didn't know what to expect, so we took in some pictures, plenty of ideas, and open minds. First and foremost, Cameron was an outstanding listener. He was very patient as we trawled through what must have felt like thousands of our pictures as inspiration, and so began the process of designing our dream home.We wanted a double storey, modern classic, light filled home with a few points of difference, something that would set us apart from the stock standard display homes, but all within a budget. It needed to be family friendly, and with a frontage of only 14m, on a 550 square metre block, Cameron did not disappoint. Cameron's knowledge of small lot code reassured us that we wouldn't have to have a 'narrow' home, even though we weren't officially in that category.We mentioned our list of essential and desirable inclusions, and things we weren't necessarily interested in, and, at every step of the way, we were consulted and included in the decision making. Nothing was too much trouble. But just as importantly, Cameron let us know if some of our choices were simply not going to work, and we trusted his expert advice. He even suggested other features that we hadn't thought of that would improve and really fine-tune what we were trying to achieve.Cameron wanted to get it right for us, and we felt that it really was 'our' house and not a house that he was trying to push on us with his own agenda. Together we tweaked a few bits and pieces, until finally we achieved our dream and all within our agreed budget.Now that we're at the other end and we're about to take possession of our beautiful new home, we wanted to let others know of our positive experience with Chilli Freaks.Some important feedback which we think is worth sharing is that, even the contractors who've worked on our house have commented on the clever use of space, and for what it's worth, we believe they're worth listening to, as after all, "we've seen lots of houses!"Feedback from our builder and his contractors, indicates that working with Cameron's designs makes their job so much easier, because of the amount of detail in Cameron's drawings. The work involved completely renovating the living areas, including converting a garage to provide an extra bedroom, bathroom, and storage area. A new pool and pool deck were also part of the scope for the project. We chose Quality First Constructions for our renovations because of some great recommendations from their previous clients. The price was very competitive, and the proposal was also clear on inclusions and exclusions which was important for us. We did have some unexpected hidden problems with the existing house that cropped up during the renovations, as is usual during a renovation, but Tim from Quality First Constructions solved them for us with minimal delay and with minimal additional cost.From beginning to end Tim and his team communicated the progress of the renovation. All the tradies that Quality First Constructions used for our renovation were polite and professional and their quality and workmanship were excellent. A special thank you goes to Marcus who supervised the day-to-day operations on site. Marcus was patient with us despite our interruptions with questions and small changes as the renovation progressed. We asked for many changes and additional work to be added to the scope during the renovations and Tim and Marcus handled all these changes without any fuss.The follow up from Quality First Constructions after the renovations were completed has also been excellent. There were some small issues that we discovered after the final inspection.
