Monica Hutchings: After many visits to Mooloolaba and staying in hotels with tasteless cold breakfasts we came across this little gem while buying an ice cream at Cold Rock...right next door and thought we'd give it a go. My hubby and I are not fans of smashed arvo on toast...we like full cooked breakfast and boy oh boy we were not disappointed. Super friendly service and hot food that was perfect and pleanty of it . We will definitely be visiting again. Recommend to anyone who likes a good feed.Parking: Park right beside the cafe.
Peter Lumb: Up from the Gold coast for a few days, arrived around lunchtime, called in for a fish & chip lunch, definately not disappointed, called in for Brekky a few days later and guess what, again not disappointed.Would recommend this place, friendly staff and prompt service.

I can confidently say that Cala Luna serves the best Italian cuisine I have encountered since my time in Italy. The Carbonara dish I ordered was nothing short of phenomenal. The pasta was cooked to perfection, al dente and full of flavor. The sauce was rich and creamy. Every bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that left me craving more.The service at Cala Luna is exemplary. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate. They were more than happy to recommend dishes and answer any questions I had, enhancing my overall dining experience.The Carbonara alone is worth a visit, but the entire menu is a culinary journey that will leave your taste buds singing with joy. I highly recommend Cala Luna to anyone seeking an authentic and unforgettable Italian dining experience.
Monique Aus: Cute vintage Italian restaurant. Let me just say that Victoria is super polite excellent customer service. We initially wanted take away n she convinced us to relax and eat in. Was great being a Sunday night wasn't super busy and food came quickly. We ordered the brushetta. Was good but just needed that balsamic drizzle to take it to the next level. The kids meal spaghetti Bolognese was just right. I ordered the cabonara di pollo was nice. The lemon sorbet needed the extra lemon tang and sorry to say tasted like a frozen lemonade icey pole crush and the cassata mmm just wasn't right. I think it was to frozen and little softer and the dessert would have tasted better. Overall something's could just bring it to the next level. Victoria you are an asset to anyone that employees you. You care about the customer.
