Krystal LeeJane: I've just recently given birth as a first time mum at SCUH and am so, so pleased and grateful for the experience I had there. Over the 2 days stay and through the birth we had many kind, knowledgeable and helpful staff members looking after us. Seriously, all of them were amazing. I was part of every decision. I felt safe and cared for in a way I didn't know I would need. Just want to extend my thanks to everyone in birthing suite! We also had access to good facilities and a cosy, clean room. All round fantastic.

Jacinta Foale: I spent some time sitting beside my brother at the Maleny hospital while he waited for an ambulance to take him to Scuh after a nasty encounter with an angle grinder. He was so carefully attended to by nurse and doctor while he waited for the ambulance. I love our public health system and I feel deeply relieved we have such warm brilliant staff in this hospital in this country town.

Barbara Coombe: I have just spent a couple of weeks as an inpatient in ward ten at Maleny Hospital. I would just like to say that I have never experienced such expert and caring attention. I found the nursing staff very friendly and they made my stay there extremely comfortable. A special mention to Julie Wanda, Wendy Caitlan and Ken and to all the other staff especially the physios who were on hand to assist with any help needed. I’m now home and doing very well.

Tess Campbell: Came in via ambulance with severe abdominal pain 9/10, accompanied with severe dizziness and vertigo. I have really bad anxiety when it comes to ambulances and hospitals, but everyone from the paramedics to the doctors and nurses were amazing! I ended up having to be transferred to SCUH, which ended with me discharging myself waiting 3 days to hear the results from tests that were done 3 days ago. I highly recommend Maleny Hospital, everyone is professional, warm, kind hearted and go above and beyond to help their patients. l have nothing but praise for their treatment of me and their constant updates on what was happening. Thank you so much!

Sheila Waterman: I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, on all levels, that took care of me during my 2 weeks at this hospital. I was sent there from NGH after a motorcycle accident that left me with a fractured pelvis. Everyone went out of their way to make me comfortable and help with my rehabilitation. I would like to give a special mention to Kay, the meals lady . During my time there I saw the kindness and patience shown to other patients that had various illnesses including dementia. Jason Copeland: Thank you AES Tanawah, we brought our Border Collie down in the middle of the night after being attacked, massive wound needing approx. a dozen stitches. Rita was very accomodating and caring, Tristian our doctor was exceptionally thorough and gave our Saxon the professional help he required, with a warm touch. Thank you so much to all others that have been helping with his recovery, especially Megan who has been diligently checking in after our visits!

Shay Oneill: This place is the best!Took my cocker spaniel in straight away no waiting around,Very professionalMy dog ingested a toxic substance and was going down hill quick, we both agreed to go ahead with what they recommendedI left him there for the afternoon and overnightThey were amazing with communication with regular update calls, they told me I was able to call them whatever time 24/7 to get an update if I felt worriedWithin a few hours of the dog being at the clinic they ran tests and told me exactly what the toxin & problem was and gave me an estimate of when I can pick him up 🙌I was able to go and see him for an update in the afternoon which they further explained everything they have done and what the plan was overnightAt no point did I feel like I was kept in the dark or worriedCalled me again at 6am saying he’s fine to go home!They even sort out your puppy insurance too and lodge the report to your specific insurer, so it’s one less thing to worry about!Highly recommend!!Thanks guys!
