Pretty much every surface was updated including extending the living room into undercover outdoor space, extending an upstairs deck and ensuite, new windows and bifold doors, extensive tiling and painting. The price was very competitive, and the proposal was also clear on inclusions and exclusions which was important for us. We did have some unexpected hidden problems with the existing house that cropped up during the renovations, as is usual during a renovation, but Tim from Quality First Constructions solved them for us with minimal delay and with minimal additional cost.From beginning to end Tim and his team communicated the progress of the renovation. All the tradies that Quality First Constructions used for our renovation were polite and professional and their quality and workmanship were excellent. A special thank you goes to Marcus who supervised the day-to-day operations on site. Marcus was patient with us despite our interruptions with questions and small changes as the renovation progressed. joshua reilly: We built in the midst of COVID and had a lot of issues with prices, timeframes and trades. What we were most impressed with during the process was the openness and honesty from Ausmar. When a price increase was necessary the director Josh Green contacted us directly. We were very impressed by this. Josh worked with us on the price and helped with discounts on extras.After the price increase we got a new building supervisor, which was like an upgrade. Daniel Rycen came in and worked closely with us informing us of every step and every trade shortage and time change. Janine Newton also worked with us closely working hard to make things happen faster and to iron out any creases.With Janine and Daniel taking over our build everything began to fall into place and our house was finally built.The quality of the build was worth the wait and everything that happened in between. We are incredibly happy with our home. We have been into houses built at the same time as ours by different companies and simple things like paint quality, flooring options, installation of kitchens don’t meet the standard of what Ausmar offers and produced for us.I would also like to thank the interiors team Rebecca and Kate for assisting and believing in my left of field choices.And of course post production of our house we have to thank marketing guru, Kylie for seeing the awesomeness of our house and working her magic with photography and social media and marketing.With all the issues we had we still know that our issues were nothing in comparison to others in the building industry.Most importantly if we were to build again we would definitely build with Ausmar for the quality of build and the incredible team that run the best building practice on the Sunshine Coast.

Bayden Horn: . I purchased a wider frontage block / home site with Stockland / AURA, and wanted a home design to compliment the frontage of my wider site. I chose the Como design as it not only has a double lock up garage, but a wide Porch / Foyer to compliment my 1200mm wide frond door, and an oversized Master Bedroom and ensuite at the front of the home. AUSMAR Homes Como design ticked all the boxes for my new home that was built in AURA. I did do some shopping around with other builders in the Baringa AURA Display Village, but found most of the consultants that worked for other builders quite hopeless, and could not answer any of my questions, but Andrew from AUSMAR was very learned and knowledgeable as he has been in the Building Industry for 22 or so years.After comparing AUSMAR Homes standard inclusions with other builders, I was pleasantly surprised with each item. We met Grace Staal, Green Earth's Operations Manager and when our plans to purchase the property didn’t eventuate, Grace offered to build another home for us.We were initially cautious as this would be a brand-new experience for us but the whole process couldn't have been more "pain free".From the initial plans to the internal fit out/decorating Grace ensured we were an integral part of the process with regular communications seeking our input regarding colour schemes, floor plan, light fittings and suggestions to improve the general aesthetics of the home. Suggestions we made for our specific requirements were welcomed and included.The building and payment process was just as simple with the help of Emma Gasparotto, Green Earth's Project Manager. Emma ensured that all changes were properly documented and communicated to us and always sought our consent to these changes prior to liaising with our valuer and bank.Even after the major works had been completed, Nathan Staal, Green Earth's Master Builder helped us to make changes to include solar power and upgrade electrical fittings.Green Earth's ability to make us feel a part of the whole process, even though we lived in Sydney, has resulted in a home that meets our specific needs and includes everything we wanted. From the wonderful use of glass and the high ceilings to the practical layout and classy finishes it is a beautiful home that we are very proud to call our own.Thank you to the Green Earth Team for giving us the opportunity to enjoy our retirement in such a wonderful home."
